Il multiverso di Cerino

The album

Presenting an entire program for flute and clarinet duo proves to be a great challenge that Giordano Muolo – clarinet, and Palma di Gaetano – flute could face and win with the support of an eclectic and surprising composer like Alessandro Cerino.
The project "The MultiVerse of Cerino" is a collection of music drawn from a vast repertoire of classical, modern, and soundtrack pieces, unified by the musical genius of an extraordinary Composer who, for over 35 years, has endowed his works with an unmistakable taste rich in colors and shades, compositional flashes, quotations, sudden dynamic changes, agogic developments that surprise, reassure, and excite the listener ... as well as the performer!
A program that will unite Multiple Musical Universes and transform two melodic instruments, immersed in slightly disconcerting yet inevitably intertwined, inverted, and amalgamated logics (as in Life!), into an orchestra; never banal or predictable exposures, which, through "technical" and virtuosic "feats," will repropose, in "AlesSandro Cerino" fashion, famous themes that will transform, evolve, enrich themselves before returning to their simplicity, always immersed in the different yet equal timbres of flute and clarinet.
An unprecedented and exclusive proposal that, with fervent enthusiasm and communicative eagerness, awaits only to be heard and applauded!
