L'Alouette
I heard for the first time Carlotta Maestrini during a competition for young pianists: I have been struck by her natural musicality cure for the sound, not so frequent in that age, and so I agreed to welcome her to my home in Florence fora second audition. Since then we have started working together, and I could appreciate her musical passion, the seriousness and respect with which she accodates to each composer and her desire to take everything that I teli her during our lessons. Carlotta lives in music - the paterna! grandmother, Cesarina Riso, was a very famous Bra zilian pianist, and the mother Rosana is a lirica! soprano this undoubtedly contributes to a very intense and happy relationship with the "art of sounds", allowing her to dea!, with enthusiasm, the hard work to follow my lessons at the Fiesole's Music School and the Aca demic Class at the Conservatory of her city, Palermo, under the guidance of Donatella Sol lima. We have thought together which pieces to be included in the CD, which testifies an important moment of the technical and interpretative growth of Carlotta, which at the age of 13 is given this precious opportunity.
