Light lyric soprano appreciated for her strong vocal skills combined with her interpretative skills unanimously recognized by the public and critics. Her love for the lyric was born with a passion for the Mozartian theater exploding with her first debuts in roles such as Despina and die Königin der Nacht up to ideal characters for her. Born in Volterra ( PI) she graduated in singing at the Conservatory of Music "Luigi Cherubini" of Florence with full marks, with praise and a special mention under the guidance of Maria Grazia Germani. In 1993, she made her debut as Juliette Brook in B. Britten’s The little sweep at the Teatro Verdi in Pisa, and since then she has played numerous operas of the traditional repertoire. Winner of numerous International Competitions such as Tito Schipa (Lecce) '94, William Walton and Rocca delle Macìe '95, she debuted in 1993 at the Teatro Verdi in Pisa in the opera “The little sweep” by Britten, conducted by Maestro Vincenzo Maxia. Since then she has played leading roles in “Die Zauberflöte” (Regina della Notte/Pamina), “Così fan tutte”, the “Marriage of Figaro” (Susanna/Marcellina), the “Clemenza di Tito”, “Idomeneo”, “Lucia di Lammermoor”, “Don Pasquale”, “Elisir d'amore”, “La Bohème”, “Il Campiello”, “Rigoletto”, “Ariadne auf Naxos”, “Un ballo in maschera”, “The Mistress of the Inn” , “Carmen”, “The Barber of Seville”, “Tancredi”, “Traviata”, “I Puritani” in theatres such as: Verdi of Trieste, Malibran of Venezia, Opera of Florence, Comunale of Bologna and Ferrara, Valli of Reggio Emilia, Festival Maggio Musicale, Festival di Torre del Lago, Festival Arena di Verona, Ravello Festival, Regio of Torino, Piccinni of Bari, Maribor Theater (Slovenia), Festival Avenches (Switzerland), Reisopera (Tour Olanda), Wexford Festival Opera (Ireland), Kaunas Theater(Lithuania), Seoul Arts Center (Korea), Izmir (Turkey), Municipal of São Paulo (Brazil).
She has to his credit numerous recordings of unpublished chamber and sacred works and compositions , recording among other things for Bongiovanni, Rai, ORF1, Naxos, Dynamic, Tactus, Amadeus and Decca. The last recording dates back to January 2018, as a world premiere for Brilliant Classic, with all the chamber compositions for voice and guitar by Carl Maria von Weber in duo with guitarist Adriano Sebastiani. She has collaborated with internationally renowned conductors such as D. Gatti, G. Bertini, Lü Jia, W. Jurowsky, T. Koopman, D. Fasolis, A. Zedda, P. Bellugi, P. Olmi, F.M. Sardelli, M. Stefanelli, S. Montanari, R. Zarpellon, M. Beltrami, U. Benedetti Michelangeli, Xǔ Zhōng, D. Oren, Z. Mehta and with stage directors such as I. Judge, I. Brook, R. Canessa, P. Panizza, A. De Rosa, I. Stefanutti, R. Bonajuto, M. Gandini, D. Krief, F. Micheli, S. Bergamasco, M. Placido, P.L. Pizzi. She has an intense concert activity as a soloist and in chamber ensembles, both in the Baroque and the Liederistic repertoire and, lately, also in the modern/contemporary one, performing at Music seasons and concert halls such as: Cafe Budapest Festival, (concert held in October 2019 in the presence of the author of the songs, the Hungarian composer Peter Eötvös), Società Barattelli de l'Aquila, Teatro Comunale di Modena per gli “Amici della Musica”, Teatro Gentile di Fabriano per l’ Ass. Gioventù Musicale, Accademia di Bologna per Conoscere la Musica, Stresa Festival, Musica negli Horti di San Quirico d'Orcia, Musica Rara di Milano, Amici della Musica di Perugia, Amici della Musica di Firenze, Associazione Mozart Italia di Milano, Salzburg, Festival du Lieddi Fribourg Switzerland, "Spring Festival" and Sala Verdi of Budapest, Sal Usina de l'Arte of Buenos Aires, the prestigious "International Mozart Festival" in Johannesburg, the ETR Theater in Sasolburg, and the Brooklyn Theater of Pretoria in South Africa, Auditorium Skandia of Bogota and Theatre los Fundadores of Manizales (Colombia).
In September 2015 in Geneva she received the title of Lady of Merit of the Savoia’s Dynastic Orders in recognition of her artistic activity. She is currently Professor of Singing at the Conservatory "Nicola Sala" in Benevento.
