She is someone to watch on an international level.” Peter Tiboris – American Conductor – Carnegie Hall Art Director (about Beethoven 1st Piano Concerto) Born in Empoli in 1987, Ilaria Posarelli started studying piano at the Maria Tipo’s Fiesole Music School, with the teacher Enrico Stellini. She graduated in 2009 with top marks and highest honours at the Institute of Musical Studies – R. Franci in Siena, under the guide of Pier Narciso Masi; with his direction, in the same year, she also obtained the two-year degree of specialization course, at the Accademia Musicale di Firenze. She is appreciated in the international panorama, as a soloist as well as chamber musician. She has performed in many important italian and foreign stages, catching the audience for her strong stage presence and great energy. She has played for O.S.E.M. Mexico – Toluca and Texcoco, for Doria International – Tokyo and Takayama City, Kunstlerhaus – Munchen, Havaellendische Musikfestspiele – Schloss Ribbeck, Teatro Florida, Toscana Classica , Amici della Musica – Firenze, Middelburg Muziek Festival, Piano Echos – Alessandria, Torino Musica, Teatro Goldoni – Livorno, Festival Barocco – Palazzo Tursi, Genova, Teatro Manzoni – Pistoia, Amici di Campolofeno – Isola d’ Elba, Arezzo Music Festival. She has been directed by conductors as Peter Tiboris, N. Lalov, M. Niesolovskij, F. Schottky, Jesus Medina, and has worked with musicians as Vladimir Mendelssohn, Edgardo Rocha, Arkadi Marasch, Kamilla Schatz, Roberto Corlianò, Ramon Jaffè and many others.She has performed with many chamber groups and orchestras such as Orchestra sinfonica de Estado – Mexico, Orchestra Sinfonica del Teatro del Giglio di Lucca, Collegium Tiberinum, Fauves Quartett, Camerata Ducale di Parma, soloists from O.R.T and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra. She plays the great masterpieces of pianism, and has refined a huge repertoire that ranges from baroque to modern music. During her formation, she has grabbed the teachings of great pianists including Dmitri Alexeev , Felix Gottlieb (Emil Gilels’s pupil), Stanislav Pochekin (International Klavier Akademie Murrhardt – Stuttgardt), Andrea Lucchesini, Pietro De Maria (Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo), Roberto Corlianò, Daniel Rivera, Sasha Bajcic, Vincenzo Balzani. In 2016 she has recorded Rossini, “Quelques riens pour album”, for Movimento Classical. Since 2013, she is the Art Director of Italian Opera in Siena.
